I wasn't able to watch a lot of this game so I will keep this short before I post a pre game for tonight's game.

Good job by the third line on staying consistent and getting the first goal for the Canuck's. Typically the first goal in the NHL is an important one when it comes to the win loss column so getting that goal is a big plus for this line. I know Samuelsson had a terrible give-away on the Briere goal, but in general the line has been playing a good team game of late.

The SSB line played a great game with a combined 6 points. This is something the line will need to continue to do in big games. But I said big players need to show up in big games and they did.

The Sedin's along with Kesler brought the PP back into the game again. And like I mentioned in the pre game, "shoot the puck". It worked with Kesler in front for a pretty tip. Kesler has the size and stick skills to sit in front of the net and get goals that way. It should be something they use more often.

Speaking of Kesler, him along with his sidekick Tambellini are playing like one of the best 2nd lines in the league. Kesler had three points and Tambellini was there to clean up Kesler's miss for his hat trick. They both extended their point streaks.

Luongo also showed up and played very well against a good team. He had some big saves at key times earlier in the game.

If this was a preview of the cup finals I like how the Canucks played. More games played this way will lead to a lot of W's.
