Canucks vs Wings, CBC, TEAM 1040, 7:00 PM pst
Keep rollin' one game at a time. That seems to be the moto of the Canucks of late. This is a huge game foe the team when it comes to standings and playoff positioning. The team can put a little distance between themselves and the 2nd place wings tonight.
The game comes at what seems to be a perfect time for the Canucks. Although they are coming off a back to back, so are the Wings. That pretty much cancels that out. If either team has any travel advantage it's the Canucks as the Wings had the fly after a shoutout win last night in Calgary.
The wings also have many key injuries going into tonights game. Take a look at the injuries at tsn.ca/injuries.
The Canucks have brought Bolduc back in while Volpatti is out tonight.
Look for the big guys from the Canucks to have good legs tonight even though it's a back to back. They didn't have to play that hard after the 2nd and should be ready to go tonight.
Luongo is well rested and he's been playing great recently. I'm sure he'd like to make up for his last performance against the Wings. Look for him to lead the team tonight with key saves at key moments.
Both teams play a puck posession style so keep your eyes on time of possesion stats.
In big games you need depth scoring so tonight is a big night for the bottom six to chip in.
Go Canucks go.
I'm on the ferry home right now. Wish I was staying for tonights game, but instead I'll be back at work at the mini, mini 'Nucks. The salmon kings.
